Lincoln MKZ 2013 So i was just looking through my mail and saw a Lincoln flyer and the car on the cover was the MKZ and imo it looks awesome! Thought it was weird no1 has noted that at least i cant see a thread with the search i checked out a couple youtube videos and im really impressed especially with it starting @ $38k check these videos out I have to say I'm quite impressed looks better than the MKS imo, snazzy interior too here are some pics http://img.netcarshow.com/Lincoln-MK...llpaper_01.jpg http://img.netcarshow.com/Lincoln-MK...llpaper_0a.jpg http://img.netcarshow.com/Lincoln-MK...llpaper_0b.jpg http://img.netcarshow.com/Lincoln-MK...llpaper_06.jpg http://img.netcarshow.com/Lincoln-MK...llpaper_08.jpg http://img.netcarshow.com/Lincoln-MK...llpaper_05.jpg |
I'll buy one when I am 50. |
One of Ford's goals with the MKZ is to lower the average age of a Lincoln buyer from 65 to 57. Clearly, Lincoln will fail miserably at achieving that goal. The most direct competition the MKZ faces is the Cadillac ATS, CTS, and XTS, and all are considerably more impressive. |
lol really no love for it? i know its always been looked at as the old-guy / business guy car (the Town Car anyway) but they've stopped making a town car for ages this looks just as good if not better than a A4/CTS,XTS,ATS/3Series/CClass imo /shrug |
I like the look.... its based off the fusion and i must say ford has stepped up the game. |
Body has nice lines, but the front grill ruins it for me. I also like the flow of the center dash, but not the excessive use of what looks like cheap plastic. |
I drove the 2012 with the Ecoboost engine... drives like a dream. I'm 36, but if I could afford one I'd have it as my daily driver, no doubt whatsoever. |
I prefer the grille on the 2013 Fusion. http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....n-lead-opt.jpg |
i like the aston fusion better |
Not my cup of tea but its still pretty neat |
the front looks:heckno: |
It certainly looks like the front end (the grille, at least) was inspired by older American cars from the 30's and 40's. :notbad: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...dan_1938_2.jpg I don't like the high belt-line though; it makes the wheels look puny. |

nevertheless...holy cow huge step up..thanks aston grille! |
diggin' the interior, rear end not so much :okay: |
Although I got 0 respect for ford (not gonna even uppercase the f)... this is not bad. I think they shouldn't be afraid to re-invent their design a little bit. The front grille is just the same old shit. Interior is sick though! |
Looks rather nice-unlike the current mkz, which is vomit-inducing with its offensive front grille. |
sorry but for 38k theirs farrrrr better options out there. This is just :heckno: |
Looks sort of like the Chrysler 200; http://www.prlog.org/11850893-new-20...auto-group.jpg vs mkz; http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....oln-mkz-ny.jpg |
I would be interested to see how the new fusion/mkz drive. The old ford fusion sport package was: 3.5L V6 AWD 6 speed auto with sport shift mode ~$30,000 MSRP base sport model On paper it looked like it'd be a pretty sweet sedan but IRL it was underpowered, gutless and boring to drive. The handling wasn't too bad, I'd always take fast sweeping corners in it and it always stuck but everything else was just a huge let down. |
Lincoln's grills always remind me of a whale and its krill :lawl: Not bad car though. |
Not too sure how, but when I see that car I can't help but think it resembles http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9...87aoo2_500.png |

Rather have that than a Civic/Corolla/Camry/Accord. Looks very nice. Ford continues their tendency of good design. |
