^Lolwut?

Why can't you return it? Didn't you just buy it? It should have a manufacturer's warranty. Unless it fell off your table or something.

tell 'em it's broken because it doesn't drain properly and you want a refund or a new one?

70 x 100% Nabob Columbian T-Discs
16 x Maxwell House T-Discs

$129.99

Cheaper then online which was for $134.99.

86 Nabob/Maxwell discs holy SHIT LOL

Those two are the "cheapest" T-discs, so don't expect too much from those. I think even the President's Choice ones are better. Just wait til you try the Gevalia ones..

i agree with PJ. i think i got my dislike for tassimo coffee b/c of those coffees

try the timmy's coffee tdiscs...

my wife stocked me up on like 4 cases of french vanilla when they were $6/ea. i'm going to hate french vanilla by the time i'm done

since you went tassimo might as well try some milk drinks.
chai tea latte and caramel machiatto

I got some "Yuban" coffee discs from the states, those were actually really good. I don't know if we have them up here.

But the Presidents Choice and Tim Hortons ones are my new regular go-to's. I'll pick up a pack of the Gevalia once every couple months or so.

your best bet would be to sell those coffees, then get some better shit. those flavours arent exactly the best way to start your tassimo experience.

someone mentioned second cup paradiso being really good and i can attest to that. if you like bold coffees then gevalia dark roasts are good too. for more budget friendly types, timmys and most espressos are pretty good (usually sold out). im not a big fan of the milk that comes with some of the flavours, but those gevalias can still create a mean cuppa caramel macchiato nonetheless.

^WOW that's a steal lol

I remember I was deciding to buy either the Keurig and the Tassimo. Funny enough, I ended up getting a Tassimo for Christmas. After a few cups of coffee, I knew I liked it more than my work's Keurig, no question.

yea that couple i bought it off received it as a housewarming gift from their parents but ironically they dont even drink coffee

on a side note; there is someone on craigslist selling overstock gevalia dark and extra dark roast coffees for $4 a pack (thats like 0.33 cents per cup for a pack of 12)

its crazy thinking about how i used to spend 4-5 bux on a coffee almost everyday back then, and now i can get 10 times more spending the exact same amount or less

I'm starting to check these out, and will probably wait until boxing day to purchase.

I like the pro's of the Keurig, but I'm leaning towards a tassimo because I don't want to spend money for a regular coffee machine. At home I'd prefer espresso over anything else.

So my question is - does the tassimo make a good espresso?
And for those with Nexpresso experience, does this machine make anything else BUT espresso?

Between the Tassimo and Nexpresso, which pucks are cheaper? Also, where do you purchase them besides costco?

Futureshop, Best Buy, London Drugs, Wal-Mart

I've had the Tassimo espresso and I thought it was good. But then I'm not really an espresso snob.

i suppose it depends what you're comparing it to. for example my sister drinks coffee and i made her a skinny latte and capacino (uses the espresso discs with a diff type of milk discs) and she said both were really strong. where as if you buy a capacino from timmys or something is pretty much sugar with some caffiene but it tastes good hah.

like PJ said it's OK but i'm not a snob either

I'm not expecting anything stellar. For $100- $150, its just convenience, really.

I'm glad you mentioned the milk. I was assuming you put your milk in the machine somehow. But the milk comes in discs as well? How much are the milk discs lol?

My brother has an nexpresso, and he bought a frother that came along with it.

This may change things, lol.

For anyone interested in the Keurig, I just picked up a B40 "Classic" model at Superstore for $85 flat. 25% off all appliances combined with their no tax day = win. This deal applies to all appliances so Tassimo is also discounted by a good amount! Wanted a B60 for the temperature control but couldn't turn away the deal on this one.
