simple video showing the difference, top gear covered a BMW with Xdrive and it was much the same, uneven power distribution fails pretty bad in snow/mud situations

Subaru is excellent in snow, I owned one and still love my wrx wagon. However, for the average Joe who needs a reliable car just to get him to and from work, my 335xi works equally well for me.

Family member purchased a 2012 forester and I loved it. Awesome with their 4wd, better than my rav4 lol...way more roomier, trim level had more options from moonroof, bluetooth, sirius, fogs, and overall features. Even pricing was more reasonable.

Are their resale value not good? Curious about what typernammer wrote.

Other way around, that's what I meant.

Subaru's hold their value so damn good.

I wish they had this in north america:

•Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive
•2.0-litre turbocharged horizontally-opposed Boxer Diesel engine
•108kW power @ 3600rpm
•350Nm torque @ 1800-2400rpm
•6-speed manual transmission
•Capable of over 1,000km on a single tank

Except didn't mitsubishi kill the evolution for 2014? Or at least it's supposed to be a hybrid. :heckno:

the EVO is sick... thats about it.. the rest of the lineup sucks pretty bad.:concentrate:

OTG-ZR2 11-20-2012 09:52 AM

The EVO lacks personality. I find them plain and sterile compared to a Scoobi.

Phil@rise 11-20-2012 10:28 AM

I love my 06' outback. Just wish it was manual and turbo but what guy wouldnt? As is tho its a great comfy family haul all.

mitsubishi has never really been reliable cars, they were used as a taxi in hong kong for a short period of time. Less than a 1 year and quickly went back to toyotas

mercyboy 11-20-2012 06:13 PM

Had a 2007 wrx for 4 years. Loved every minute of it and always looked forward to snow with snow tires on!

FerrariEnzo 11-21-2012 04:32 AM

even the base model of the subarus are pretty good.. lots of features.. sure its priced a bit high then "other" base models... but when add features, its about the same price plus you the AWD system..
