Does anyone have any bad encounters with them? Forgot to check with the forums...they will be doing the coilpack recall on my mkiv jetta tomorrow.

TIA

They're much better now that they got rid of the Cross and Norman ownership.

Can't say much about their service department, but dubberz.com should be able to answer that question without much of an issue. That said, Guildford Volkswagen (VW of Surrey now, I believe) and Capilano Volkswagen were always the go-to dealerships for modified VW's still under warrranty (and even those out of warranty).

Oh... and there's still mk4's out there without the coilpack replaced? lol

Hahaha yes, there are a few mkiv that haven't gotten rid of the L series coilpacks yet...I'm one of them. To be fair, the car only has 68k on it...

I'll post this on Dubberz, forgot about that. d'oh

Coilpack replacement is pretty easy. They would have to royally mess up the install for something to happen.

Then again, it is a...........nevermind.
