Being in a union place there are a few rules a company must follow. Any sort of reprimand or warning has to have a paper trail, aka a memo. The company basically has to prove their case that they gave enough warnings in case of a wrongful dismissal suit.
I my self work on weekends for a unionized parking company and honestly I don't give 2 shits about the management.
Use your lumber yard money to buy some good English language textbooks. Instead of being a lot boy, spend your weekends studying. If you put some effort into it, you can get a real job in the near future.

i work from 8:30am to 5pm and only get 30 mins lunch break (unpaid for). today my manager gave me shit for eating a fruit during my shift... some days i dont even get my lunch break until 2pm. By that time i would be starving considering that i am moving non stop for 8 hours.
