Power is kinda out. Strange!

So, this is weird. A few minutes ago, while I was playing Planetside, my ceiling fixture went dim. Then, my wife tells me the Christmas tree lights went out, and so did the HTPC. I live in a condo. The neighborhood is mostly dark. However, my computer and dual screens are still on, and so are my routers. Items that consume electricity are in various states of power. Some lights, like my bedroom lights, don't work. Others, are dim or fully lit. When I look into the hallway, half of it is dark, and the other half has lights on. The emergency lights are all on.

This is all very strange. Anyone else in the Clayton Heights are experiencing this? Usually, when the power goes out, I'm running batteries and candles, not going on Revscene or playing video games.

OP if you haven't seen my post above yet... the power is OUT OF PHASE
turn off and unplug any large electronics that aren't fused or risk having them fried or worse - go on fire

It may be worth un-plugging things sometimes.

Years ago, at our house back east there was a guy working on the power lines and he fell, and grabbed the wires. He literally fried his hands.

The surge went through our house and every single item plugged in, fried.

Mom was in the hairdressing shop and the florescent light over the mirror smoked from the back...VCR(back when a VCR was an investment), fridge, freezer...you name it, all burned.

Thankfully, it was all paid for but that is a lot of stuff to replace or have repaired.
