It has come to my attention that you are the cousin of Khalah Tariq Hussein II, a wealthy Arabian prince. Unfortunately, he has passed away with no close relatives and has entrusted me with $100,000,000 USD in liquid assets. Luckily, he has named you in his will and the sole proprietor of these assets. However, I need $500,000 initial deposit to activate these assets and it seems that you have come across such amount. |
Take the money and fly outta the country. Live in Asia, live like a king. When you've spent it all, come back and ask your family for another 500k and say you lost the initial investment. RUNNNNNN NOW |

Start a porn business. I hear brazilian fart porn is blowing up. |
Here is your golden egg. Highlights > R8 Coupé > Audi China There are only 80 produced. So buy 500,000 worth of audi r8 china edition. Remember there are 1,344,130,000 people living in china and only 80 audi r8 china editions. You can turn your 500,000 into 2 million just like that when those bad boys are sold out. Don't forget my 10% finders fee. So i expect $200,000 up front when you proceed with my idea. |
If you are serious, examine the following - term deposit yields 1.25% - invest in precious metals, which generally yields more than inflation of 2.25% - invest in low risk, moderate growth funds at banks yield 2.5-3 % - invest in FX market, depending on your vision, may yield 4-8% - invest in private investment counsel, after fees, depending on market situation, may yield 7-12% - invest in high risk bonds yield 10-20% |
RS is so negative these days. If you have $500k, it'll really depend on how must risk you want to take. The higher the risk, higher the reward. It also depend if you want to leverage (borrow more money with your money to increase your return). Here are some ideas: - You can start a small business like a restaurant. You can try to see if you can take out another $500k as a loan, and open a McDonald. They are relatively low risk and generate fairly steady income. - Buy Gold ( more of a asset retaining investment than a asset growth investment ) - Real estate (commercial or residential) - Angel investment ( eg. find the next Mark Zuckerberg and give him 100,000 for 10% of his company in very early stage, wait til his company go big and cash out) - Private Equity ( eg. Buy an existing company thats doing poorly, fire all the expensive execs, hire young hard working people, build up revenue, sell the company for a profit) - Stock Market ( probably won't recommend it if you don't know what you are doing ) - Hedge Fund ( Give your money to wall street bankers ( or bay street ), and get them to make money with it ). |

Open up a Red Lobster and wait for the money to roll in :troll: |
Rental properties can be a good investment. If you were to open a business, please plan, plan, plan, and plan some more. It's not easy to become a successful entrepreneur. I would hate to see your business flop and waste $500k of your families money. Remember, you probably won't see any profit for the first couple years depending on your business. |

Buy however many shares of Apple you can get with $500,000. :troll: |
Honestly I would by some shares of RIM. With the great reviews of the B10 that's coming out soon it will give a nice stock job and a way to make some quick cash. |
