the one at metrotown by A&W and Starbucks seems to have just opened this week. |
I've been to the Metrotown location twice already, and it seems like they can't keep their hot food portions hot. The downtown location doesn't have the same issue. I'm not sure why, but everytime I get to the rice meat and grilled veggies in my bowl they're so cold. Anyone else getting the same result? |
Had Chipotle's once in San Francisco and once at the Howe St. location. Nothing about the food struck me as super memorable, wasn't terrible just didn't live up to the hype. Was wondering whereabouts they "grilled" anything... Now, Adrianna's Cocina here by my work is on a whole different level. Properly Authentic Mexican. +1 for local business too. |
Never understood the hype of Chipotle either. Food is bland, slightly overpriced and is non-authentic. Even if it's non-authentic, at least make it taste good. Comparing apples to apples, I say Mucho is better. |
Same. To me its something overpriced and doesn't even taste good. |
I think it taste pretty good, but the small portions for the ridiculous price is not worth the line ups everyone waits in. I rather go to Taqueria Playa Tropical in New Westminster. |
That feel when not even full after 1 Burrito :fuckthatshit: |

Have you guys had Mucho Burrito? It's a decent alternative to Chipotle's. |

I'm not a burrito connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination but Chipotle was not worth the money at all. It's not that it tastes bad, but for the price, I'd rather go to Tacofino for a burrito. Chorizo burrito from Tacofino tastes amazing but the portion is slightly small. I went to the one beside chapters in downtown a few days ago and I have to say that the lukewarm burrito was average at best. The taste was kind of bland and the only real flavoring was sauce. I'm surprised to see this place lined-up out the door by 12:00pm. I would say that it ranks a little above Chronic Tacos in taste but ranks below, in price. Another reason I would choose Chronic Tacos over this place is because the guys working at Chronic are mostly chill and sometimes they just slap on some extras like guac with no charge. Too bad most of them closed down and I think the only one left in vancouver is the broadway location. I would visit Chipotle again only if I'm really craving a burrito and I'm in the area, but would not go if there are alternatives available. One burrito place I'll never go to ever again is Steamrollers. That place is fucking garbage. I got food poisoning from their from the super chicken. |

Been going to the one at Metrotown. It's good if you expect fast food quality. My goto Mexican joint in Vancouver is still Tacofino. I prefer it to even authentic Mexican restaurants. |
