I do not believe in how many years a battery will die. Shops always say 3 years is what car batteries will last, so you visit them frequently.

Two of my Mercedes batteries have lasted nearly 10 years, I just replaced one, even startup voltage is 11-12v, it still crank okay every morning.

can't go wrong with Kirkland. Their battery warranty is unbelievable. I think mine is 96 or 108 months. forget what it was.

mine is a 2009. drive around the same as you still on original battery. I have a blackvue camera with a power magic pro. Once i put the key in ignition, the camera shuts off which indicates the battery life is low but enough for me to start the car.

I got my battery checked during a maintenance service on nov 3, 2014.
State of charge: 60%
State of health : ~22%

I recommend you get your battery checked. mr.lube MIGHT do it for free.

Contrary to what most would think, Walmart's EverStart batteries are very well rated.

I've had 2 in 2 cars and they've never let me down. Good warranty, good reviews, good value as well.

My old mans friend went and bought brand new Porsche and he lives about 4kms away from where he works. A month later his car was dead when he went to go start it. This went on a few times until they figured out he lived too close to his work and starting the car took more energy then it could charge coming back and forth. The only way around this was to live further away or drive the car more.
A different problem happened with one of my dads cars when the battery became weak so he replaced it but when he did - the charge burnt out the alternator so he ended up having to replace both. When things go wrong....they go wrong
