| Boxing Day 2012 Thread
Anyone prepare for what to buy this year yet? Only thing I have in mind is a dresser for myself
Start listing some door crashers and awesome boxing day flyers!
I know Visions has some cheap TVs on sale for the 26th.

Lots of flyers on here: http://boxingday.redflagdeals.com/
In all honesty I think the quality of boxing day sales have gone down over the recent years. There aren't many deals out there I'd be willing to sacrifice sleep over, largely due to the fact that most of these "deals" can be had during many other times of the year. "Black Friday" in the states is also wayyyy better than Boxing Day so I spent most of my money last month anyways
I'll cherry-pick around for boxing day deals online on the 24th, won't be lining up for anything on the 26th.
Will be keeping my eyes out for a tablet for les parents (7" or 10", I already own a Nexus 7 32gb and may pick up another one if there's any good deals on it for them)

Just bought a LG 42" LED 1080P 120hz Cinema3D HDTV w/ 2 sets of Dual Play Gaming Glasses for $400. Probably the hottest deal this boxing day |

Still actually surprised that people look forward to boxing day because most retails start their sales around black Friday and continue all the way into the new year and I rarely see the crazy deals retails had for boxing day like they had a few years back.

Dirt cheap and I can just buy them on futureshop.ca or bestbuy.ca and have them shipped.
Other than that, only people getting crazy deals will be people who receive door crashers.

I'm looking to get a digital camera for my mom, something extremely basic and user-friendly. I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to camera brands and stuff, for the price, what's a simple point and shoot camera for $200 roughly. Is that too low/high for a basic camera?
