shantz Diagonally parked in a parallel universe Join Date: Jun 2002 Location: Langley Posts: 1,438 Thanked 116 Times in 39 Posts	my wife is a teacher. short answer; no. private sector gets paid more - but no union security or and of the perks and benefits associated with the union (sick days, collective bargaining etc...)
