THE WORST

You can quite literally buy an E46 M3 and an E39 M5 for this sort of money...

westopher 10-06-2021 02:15 PM

Lol 220 in Canada and thinks there are less than 15 in Vancouver. I bet that more than half of them are here.

If you look what low mileage examples are going for on BaT it's not really too out of line. You're buying it for collecting not driving

NKC ONE 10-06-2021 06:21 PM

Last several ones on BaT went from $65k-$85k USD with similar mileage. Not sure how that's a fail.

68style 10-06-2021 06:23 PM

Market and buyer fail... not not a CL fail

Although I will say in CANADA yes it's a fail... we're too poor... I have bad experience here with selling cars that are worth more than I'm asking in the current market and would sell in a hot minute in the USA but up here everyone trolls you with 30% offers and shit...

TLDR Canadians are cheap lol

westopher 10-06-2021 06:44 PM

We aren't cheap, we're just fuckin broke.
You have a 30k 3500 Square foot house with 8 car garage in Texas you can afford 90k 1m coupes.

68style 10-06-2021 07:04 PM

Cheap... broke...

westopher 10-06-2021 07:10 PM

If I was cheap I wouldn't be broke lol.

$269k?? I bet the odo has rolled over a few times... No way a Conti is worth that much.

donk. 10-20-2021 11:23 AM

Bluestarmotors always posts cars for at least 20-100% more than they are worth, i think they launder money there

Spectre_Cdn 10-20-2021 12:48 PM

Yeah, they were originally posting that tuned mk3 Supra for something absurd, like $80k. Now it’s still 100% overpriced at 50k.

Qmx323 10-20-2021 01:12 PM

Guess who?

A real cool car though

https://vancouver.craigslist.org/nvn...396789656.html

Tbh though, I just really quickly checked for 2006 Ford GT's... one red one with similar mileage for $449K. The rest are $550K-$650K with MUCH lower mileage, some as low as 50.

68style 10-20-2021 02:17 PM

I feel like that car is priced appropriately to the market... I might expect like $20-30k off if I were purchasing. Which I am not. lol

The back bumpers they forced them to put on those cars are an absolute tragedy, thank goodness there are numerous kits online to remove it.

68style 10-20-2021 06:42 PM

I know these are relatively rare and that's some crazy low mileage... but damn what a price lol:

my brother and I looked for an x-runner last year. They're mostly pretty beat. Could have made deals from 9-13k on decent under 200k trucks. I love them.

The one posted above is in another category - there's just such a miniscule market for something like that. Can't really argue w the price when there's no comps. Who's the buyer tho? not a museum - maybe some obscure collector. I mean somebody bought and kept low mile Sy/Ty's too. People prob thought they were crazy at the time.

Sy/Tys were actually standouts of their time and were desirable when new. The X-Runner just begs the question why? It's not particularly fast other than being low.

some of them came w the factory blower. Pretty quick. Lots of motorcycle guys had them for easy loading and unloading. Factory mini trucks are kind of neat.

i think it's more about limited numbers than actual performance tho. I'm just saying that one man's trash is another man's treasure

underscore 10-21-2021 03:27 PM

I thought the XRunner handled quite well too?

From what I recall it was benchmarked against none other than the 350z. I'm not sure how close they got it though

I remember this as well, I also remember somewhere in some magazine or blurb the xrunner can beat the 350z but I can't seem to find that article anymore.

I recall hearing it beat it in the skid pad, so I looked it up and the X Runner pulled 0.90g while the 350Z pulled 0.89g.
