Someone bought a Prime, drove it for 24k in like 6 months, and then sold for profit? Damn.

whitev70r 01-06-2022 05:04 PM

Is seller a POS?

westopher 01-06-2022 05:14 PM

If they lied about the condition of it in the ads, or withheld known issues with the vehicle, yeah.

Oh so you mean it's shady to want " an auction site where you list some shit and people can’t say shit"

^ If you've never spent any time of FRS forums this is how it works:

Stock 200hp
Some exhaust manufacture said 5-10 = add 10hp
KN drop-in filter says 2-10hp = add 10hp
Some tuner says my tune does 8-12 hp = add 12hp
Some guy says 92 octane feels faster = add 5hp
Some manufacture said intake spacers add 1-5hp = add 5hp

There you go. You now how have 232hp NA FRS, so let's go head and round that to 240.

I present to you, my 240hp NA FRS.

bcrdukes 01-07-2022 06:01 PM

You forgot that stickers add an extra 5hp each!

Haha, I mean everyone goes thru that phase... right? ....... right?

I still remember when I got my first car.... oh boy!

1991 nsx, rebuilt and wrapped for 140

peepoClap

westopher 01-14-2022 01:38 PM

Lol. Imagine "restoring" a car then wrapping it in some supercar only imaginable flat blue tinfoil.
edit: of fucking course its blue star.

68style 01-14-2022 02:42 PM

I feel like he may just have used really poor wording and it's not actually a rebuild like accident rebuild... just "rebuilt" like they re-did the engine and stuff (as per the photos).

It's still a bit high of a price though, even for the massively inflated NSX market.

68style 01-21-2022 07:58 PM

Even at current Porsche prices... LOL!!!!

Not only that it's in USD!!!!

Fuck this guy lol

westopher 01-21-2022 08:41 PM

Fuck that guy, but Vesuvio is best.

bcuzracecarz 01-21-2022 09:54 PM

What was the price? Looks like it’s “best offer” now

68style 01-21-2022 10:30 PM

He was asking $220,000 USD

snowfarmer 01-29-2022 04:16 PM

usually I would post up a craigslist fail based on a ridiculous asking price and/or because the vehicle is dripping in tasteless mods that the seller thinks add value. This one is in another category, one that I'll classify as an outcome of poor life choices. The story on this one just keeps getting worse the further you read.

2000 Chevy Tahoe - $1,200 (Surrey)

https://images.craigslist.org/01515_...ik_600x450.jpg

2000 tahoe 4x4 5.3L runs drives, 400,000+km 275/55R20 tires maybe 50% tread, known issues= rear pinion bearing completely shot rear driveshaft removed so it can be driven in 4x4 with just the front wheels driving, I dont have access to the rear driveshaft any more. The rear brake line was leaking so it was cut and crimped so just the front brakes work now, e brake still works as well. It was the wifes truck till we had complications, I canceled the insurance on it, she got it impounded and since I'm the registered owner, after its 90 day impound it was mine to deal with, I need it gone in its "as is" condition as I no longer have access to my garage and the place I was storing it burned to the ground, there will likely be more issues with it but I havent driven it in the past year so just guessing. Currently it is on a trailer, not mine but may be able to work out delivery if needed. As I said I need it gone $1200

68style 01-29-2022 05:35 PM

^ WOW... buddy should have just taken the L and moved on

GIZZ 01-29-2022 05:52 PM

Sounds like a joke.

You could probably make a few bucks selling the ltz wheels, the cats and the 5.3. The 2nd and 3rd row seats are popular in older trucks. Then drop the rest off at the recycler.

That's kinda what I was thinking, parts truck.
