Posts that start "RE:" on CL are must-reads. There was a few people discussing a job on CL, and I weighed in, and almost immediatly get an e-mail from the proprietor of a local private course threatening a lawsuit for defamation based on my posting my opinion about the cost and course material he provides. Ironic as my opinion wasn't so bad, but after getting threatening e-mails(side note, can everyone, EVERYONE that makes the threat, "I'll get your IP address and find you" please actually understand what they are saying?) it really proved the rule. |
