I've tried learning mandarin in a class, but that never really worked for me. I stopped that, and now I've given learning mandarin a second shot. The place I'm going to offers a class room lessons and also one on one lessons which is what I'm doing at the moment. Google Key Language Training, they have a couple locations. Hope this helps.

My parents are taking Mandarin night classes right now at Langara College. So far they find the classes fun and are really motivated to study everyday.
