Win7 tablet?

Need some recommendations for a win7 tablet, I don't need anything fancy, I just need something light for work and a tablet that will let me log-on to windows remote desktop.

I love the new win tables but I find them to be quite pricey. Any reason why you're just looking at Windows? I ask because there are remote options for iPads and Android tablets.

Well I always need access to a server at work, I hate taking my laptop everywhere I go so that's why I'm looking at a Windows tablet. And I have a remote app for my galaxy s3 which works ok but not it's stable enough, that's why I prefer a Windows based tablet so rdp is stable.

That's probably an RT tablet, can't RDP into it.

OP, do you need Win 7 or is Win 8 okay?

You are going to have a tough time finding a Windows 7 tablet when everything coming out is windows 8. I have a Lenovo Twist laptop that has a screen that rotates to a tablet, Acer has a tablet with a Intel Atom CPU for around $700.

Win8 would work as long as I have RDP. My budget is under $500.
