Audio installer familiar w FX35 2nd gen

Hey guys,

I'm looking to do an install on my 2009 FX35...

It has the Bose stereo in it at the moment and I'm not happy with it...

Looking to consult with someone who is familiar with the vehicle and comfortable with the install.

Secondly I want to source the speakers myself and will most likely be using CDT Audio for the speakers...

Does anyone know an installer who has dealt with the Bose system on the vehicle before?

From what I can tell its going to be a 4 or 5 channel amp going in, removal of the sub (amp will go in its place) and the switching out all the speakers...

Once that's done I will check the sound and perhaps add in a sub afterwards.

As best I can tell from the limited knowledge of the vehicle there are 10 speakers (including sub), 4 of which are 6.5" and the rest 4"... So for example, some members with the Gen 1 FX have said that 3.5" speakers fit and not 4" even though they have the same specs.... I obviously don't want to source the wrong sized speaker etc.

Anyway if anyone knows someone that is familiar with the vehicle drop me a line on here or by PM!

Mike (Orgasm_Donor) & I have dealt with many Infinity's over the years.

CDT makes an excellent product and as IASCA judges, we have real world experience with them. One of my contemporaries in Trinidad is a CDT retailer and has proven them to be top-notch with many first place trophies.

Other quality speakers are Focal, Morel, Hybrid Audio, Scan Speak... which is what we carry.

Bose makes a typical 6.5" p.o.s. speaker for cars as well as their 3.75" mid/tweet for your non-enjoyment. We have solutions for that too.

We have many amplifiers that can fit your requirements from: Focal; JL Audio; ARC & Pioneer.

Tuning will be your biggest issue as your factory stereo won't have much control over where the sound waves bounce. We have a perfect processor to suit your needs from Mosconi.

We are Revscene sponsors for a reason, we know cars, we know audio.

I would consider myself a Nissan/Infiniti specialist as I have a 350Z with pretty much the exact same Bose amplifier as you. CDT makes some nice speakers but as installerz said, there are a ton of other brands that are comparible and better for reasonable pricing as well. Even the Hybrid Audio speakers 'Imagine' series can compete with the big boys and their pricing is very reasonable.

All that said, contact one of us at SoundsGood and we'll point you in the right direction. The FX is a great car to work with and has a ton of potential to sound incredible! Oh, you will need a sub if you want it to sound fantastic. You'll see.
