| 1988 Honda crx si, B16a swapped
Hello all,
Posting up my 88 b16 crx. Need to sell it so I can finish my awd crx project and get that on the road finally.
This car has been around Vancouver island and was one of the first b16 swapped Honda's on the island. Motor runs great, except has that annoying 4th gear grind that Honda transmissions are so very famous for.
Car has 255k on the chassis, motor is unknown to be honest. Car has a rebuilt title on it. The motor sucked up a bunch a water years ago and it puked a rod and ICBC wrote it off bc it was too much to fix and one of the previous owners bought it back, put new short block in it and got it running again. As far as I know there is no other issue with the car with regards to the rebuilt tag.
Car was originally a Y-49 yellow car but was painted charcoal gray/gunmetal by a previous owner.
car also has a wing west urethane mugen style kit on it. Kit is in really good condition and not damaged or destroyed.
Other than the engine swap, car also has a rear disc swap, Jdm crx sir tail lights, clear corners and a newer model Jvc deck with jbl components.
Exterior wise the paint is a little rough. The bumpers could use a respray, a set of lowering springs and a better set of wheels.
Interior is mostly complete except for the rear center compartment cover, it never came with the car and I havent had the time to look for it.
I've been driving this car daily for a while now without any issue. It still runs great and pulls hard and if some time and money was spent on it, would be a great little car again....or you could part it out, swap the guts into another shell and make another better car, entirely up to you.
Im asking 2500obo for the car. Throw me an offer, I'm easy going, just not super low, haha. I can meet pretty much anywhere if need be.
