After the twist in "Iron Man 3," many are still convinced that Ben Kingsley will be brought back for more Marvel films. Now that Kingsley is promoting "Ender's Game," The Belfast Telegrapher asked the actor if he has something in the works with the company.

"It's a secret Marvel project. I'm not allowed to say any more, you're going to have to wait and see," he said, adding: "I was with many members of the crew that were involved in 'Iron Man 3.' It was lovely to see them again. It was great to be with this wonderful family."

It's possible that Kingsley will reprise his role in a Marvel short-film, but many are still hoping that the events in "Iron Man 3" are not what they seem and that the actor will return as The Mandarin. Stay tuned.

Feels like I don't need to watch the movie now

Wongtouski 10-24-2013 06:30 PM

ScarJo looking fine as always and love how they've kept the Winter Soldier's identity a secret in the trailer. But I am going to miss the charming tackiness of the first movie.

Why is that?

This trailer hyped me up big time.

I disagree with the above poster. although I enjoyed the first film and am a fan of captain America, I thought it was a little over the top and cartoony. I like this more serious, "grounded" tone to the movie.

Anyone know why Riverport isn't showing Thor in IMAX? Not shot/converted?

Just wondering now cause I'm planning to reserve seats for next Saturday. If Riverport isn't holding back, then I'd rather reserve seats at Scotiabank/Metro AVX.

Because like most trailers, they show all the good parts - special fx, new characters, even punchlines. And with movies these days, especially comic book movies, there isn't much else to enjoy

Marvel’s “Ant-Man” has found its hero in Paul Rudd, who will star in the new film from director Edgar Wright hitting theaters July 31, 2015!

The casting of Rudd represents the actor that Marvel had long ago identified as its first choice to play Ant-Man, continuing the studio’s desire to cast actors that bring several dimensions to its onscreen heroes. The film’s plot is being kept under wraps.

“When Edgar Wright came to us with the idea of Paul Rudd, we felt a huge sense of relief because the first step in creating any Marvel Studios film is finding the right star," said Marvel's Kevin Feige. "We knew early on that we had found the right person in Paul. When he not only agreed to do it but became as enthusiastic as any actor we’d ever met with about doing the work, we knew we’d found the right guy. We couldn’t be more excited for our audiences to see what he’s going to do to bring Ant-Man to life.”

A few days old news now but anyway, Michael Douglas is going to play Hank Pym in the Ant-Man movie and Paul Rudd will be Scott Lang

Both these characters Hanky Pym and Scott Lang are Ant-Man in the comics (i dont know when or why they made the change in comics)

Michael Douglas Talks about Why He Joined ANT-MAN

Yesterday, we learned that Michael Douglas would star as Hank Pym opposite Paul Rudd in Edgar Wright‘s Ant-Man. Even if you’re completely unfamiliar with the character, that trio of talent should have you instantly hooked into this picture. We knew Rudd had been in the mix for months, but the casting of Doulgas took the Internet by surprise, and now the Oscar-winning actor has commented on why he decided to take the big role of a tiny superhero. Speaking to Reuters, Douglas said,

Quote:
“I’ve been dying to do a Marvel picture for so long. The script is really fun, the director is really good. Dylan (the actor’s 13-year-old son) will love it. He’ll have a picture he can see.”
Actors taking roles partially because they want to be able to take their kids to their movies is nothing new, and I’m sure Doulgas has earned some super dad points for being in Ant-Man. Presumably, that’s also a reason why he’s been circling Marvel for so slong. Douglas also gave Reuters another reason for taking the role:

Quote:
“Sometimes – like (when) they didn’t see you for Liberace – you’ve got to shake them up a little bit and have some fun.”
That’s been the arc of Douglas’ career. He’s got a diverse filmography, and I’m excited to see how his take on Hank Pym will align with Wright and Joe Cornish‘s script.
