It has come to part ways with a project that consumed much of my life and was the source of a lot of fun! I've taken the car to many Packwood events including two national tours placing 3rd two years in a row.
With my 2011 Co-Driver Andre, we trailered the car to Lincoln Nationals where I placed 13th out of 45 and managed 4th fastest time on the West Course overall in STS.
(keep in mind this video was shows the car before a massive suspension setup evolution and both the bushings and clutch were replaced)
The reason I'm selling is mainly due to the very limited time I could put towards campaigning the car. With the Scion Tuner Challenge and other racing events pulling my attention in 2013 the car would end up sitting around collecting dust. I would much rather see someone enthusiastic about autocross using it and winning! If you're interested, shoot me a message and you can come see the car. There is much to discuss in terms of history, future setup tips, etc.
Basically this car could be free to race if you're fast!!!
Additionally the Canadian National Autocross Championship will be hosted by the VCMC club in Pitt Meadows this year! This miata is a tool capable of winning the STS class. I would also be happy to help you prepare the car as you get close to the event along with helping your driving (Personal instruction included with car).
IF you were so inclined, however, you could run this car on the street using the suspension included by swapping to the softer springs. With all the updated bushings I dare you to find a Miata that feels closer to stock in terms of transmission and chassis.
I also forgot to mention it is has ~115,000 Km!!!!!
