| Oakridge Apple Store Robbed
Global BC | Three men rob the Apple store at Oakridge Quote:
Police are on the hunt for three men after they robbed the Apple Store in Oakridge Mall.
Shortly before 7:00 p.m. tonight, three men entered the Apple Store and sprayed bear mace into the air and stole a small number of electronics before running out of the mall.
Officers arrived and searched the area for the suspects with the help of a police K9 unit. Some of the stolen items were recovered, but police were not able to find the three men responsible.
There were about 40 customers in the store at the time of the robbery. Five people were treated at the scene by paramedics for exposure to the bear spray.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the Vancouver Police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

im guessing the electronic stuff thats hanging off their wall/shelvings. the big stuff is locked down pretty good to the counters.

I thought all the display items have different builds? Like, iPad chargers are on the rear opposite side of the screen vs the real device which has it at the bottom, wouldn't make much sense to steal if we don't have the right charger..?

probably stole headphones and high end accessories. They are not locked down or tagged like the apple products on the table.
Sucks for the workers, seems like Oakridge has seen a rise in burglary within the past year.

Oakridge was always getting jacked, especially that jewelry store-at least once a year.
When I worked at Club Monaco we always had people stealing stuff.

a friend of mine worked at the Best Buy at metrotown and she said a guy went into the store with mace and a hammer went over to the iPod touch case, smashed and grabbed a bunch of iPods....

Every retail gets alot of people stealing their stuff. Metrotown is the worst for some reason.
There's really no use for people to steal from Apple or any electronic from stores since they all have serial numbers attached to it. It isn't hard to find the product.
