Shaw internet issue, please assist.
Hey folk, I am currently in a situation with Shaw and wondering if you all have experienced about it.
Two months ago, I called and cancelled my cable service. One of the salesman called and offered me a promotion for 6 months , including internet + FREE TV. Since this is a really good deal, I clarified the total price with him several times before I accepted the offer.
The bill from last month was fine, $30 something plus tax. However for this month, it costs about 52 after a promotional discount of 67 dollars.
I attempted to contact the same sales person to ask him what is going on but in vain. I contacted Shaw customer service and explained the situation, All they did was basically telling me they wont reduce the price as they gave me a promotional price already. Furthermore, they neglected my demand to reveal the phone conversation between myself and the sales man as I remembered that i have asked him for the price and he stated $30 dollars only.
This is a serious integrity issue of the sales person as I am not sure whether he was trying to meet his monthly quota and trying to scamp more customers?
Please advise if there is any better business bureau / agency which I can complain to?
