i just bought one on sat on ebay. lol. my friend has one. it worked on his dads car. but it didnt work on his fit. he said it could be his own phone thats the problem. hopefully it works for me.

i bid on ebay. search up elm327. its around $15-20 if you select 'buy it now'. but i won the bid at $11. just find 'ending soonest' on the list of sellers and start bidding!

*and make sure its a bluetooth elm327. not usb adapter for laptop.

I've used mine on honda, chrysler, jeep, nissan, bmw, subaru (so far) and it's worked great.

There are some car brands that it will not work with (or so I've been told).

Mine looks like this:

ELM327 Bluetooth OBD2 II EOBD Software Can-Bus Car Diagnostic Scanner Tool - Tmart.com

with torque app you can pull live data for O2 sensors, which is a very cool feature if you're trying to diagnose a car failing aircare. You can also check readiness monitors, which is exactly what aircare checks on OBDII cars.

I bought the Torque app with the intentions of buying a bluetooth OBD2 adapter. Keep forgetting to buy the actual unit, though.

Great source, though. Looks like I have no more reasons for not owning one now.
