it's nothing like that. it is the way things are.
you obviously know nothing about what alpha means.
you don't have to be a big muscular guy.
you can be a small skinny dude, that looks like a nerd, and still be more alpha than the big roid monkey next to you.
you have to be alpha to keep any girl, even if the chick is some ugly fat chick no one wants.
to be alpha means to be a man, to be a leader. to be stern and know how to get your way. to not submit when you don't have to. to keep a balance of things and still be on top.
we don't live in some fantastical dingy world.
the ladder of social hierarchy exists in all levels of life.
and it especially exists in relationships with women.

plus you'd be surprised the people that have that attitude are like modern cavemen, and the women that fall for them are modern cave women. that shit still works. and in it's own way it's alpha, a very barbaric primitive version of alpha that only goes so far in modern society.
to be alpha is to control the situation.
If clubbing people works for you, then it works for you. but someone else will come along that's smoother than you, smarter than you, and figure a way to defeat you at this game without using a club. and he'll be more alpha than you.
bill gates and steve jobs were very alpha, but they look like total dorks.
they know how to get their way, they know how to manipulate the situation. they're smart.
arnold is very alpha too, but in a very different way. you think he got to governor by clubbing bitches over the head?
to be alpha is to be smart, not just logically, but also to know how to reach out and feel out people's feelings, and reciprocate and make people radiate pride and happiness. so people look up to you and go, that guy is cool, i want to be him. i want what he has. i envy him.
THAT is what being alpha is. that guy that has the shit you want, the girl you want, the moves you want. that guy you would be proud to call boss.
you don't like it because to be alpha, is stereotypically to be extroverted. you're obviously an introvert. you're just not comfortable in your own skin, doing the things that need to be done to be alpha, which typically involves interacting with others in dominating but suave way. the word alpha scares you, the same way stage freight scares you.
to be alpha is to exude confidence. a confidence that will drive the weak to fear you. and the strong to look up to you.
