Hi,

Highest quality - The Lab. They do real canvas prints, not that inkjet shit. You will pay through the nose for it, but it looks damn good.
Tricera will do a good job with inkjet canvas.

Just out of sheer morbid curiosity, any idea what out the nose pricing looks like? Maybe for something like an 18x24?

Another question.
When I submit the photo. Which would be the best way to submit it.
Lets say you have a photo taken at a certain resolution, assume max MP of camera. You want to have the lab to create print 4x6 for example. Do I submit the file cropped/canvas without scaling the image size resolution equivalent to 4x6 or downscale the image size equivalent?

1) the color space the lab is using (if it's a 4x6, likely sRGB; however, if you're using The Lab, it'll be Adobe RGB 98)
2) what DPI they are requesting (again, if it's a 4x6, likely 300dpi)
3) create a JPG based upon those specs and give that to the lab
If you're going to use The Lab, they'll hand hold you through the entire process. That's why in part they're so expensive. Here's a sample price - a 5x7 LaserLIGHT print @ The Lab will cost you $13. A Fujiflex or Metallic print of the same size will cost you $26. This doesn't include tax |

A friend of mine mentioned about ABC Photo is also an option as well, how to they compare to The Lab? Just looking at their site, it seems they also have LaserLIGHT as well.

I've only been to ABC Photo twice and that was to do a small 5x7 test print so I can't really comment on their quality. I can comment on the shopping experience though.
ABC Photo has lots more products to offer (more than The Lab). They were fairly helpful when I came in but I also went in when it wasn't that busy. Prices vary depending upon the product you get and it's on different sheets of paper so you have to go in (or call I guess), to find out the price (no comprehensive price sheet). They do have samples though so you can go in and ask to see them :-)
