Putting one of my motorcycles up for sale. Rebuilt title due to a very light low speed slide by another owner. Some light scratches on the upper cowling that have been filled in, and light scuffing on the right mirror. As you can see in the pics, the damage is unnoticeable unless you are looking for it. Other than that, terrific condition. Mileage is just over 10,000kms currently, but will increase as I will still be riding it come summertime. 70mpg is very easily attainable on this.
The SV650 is a desirable machine for both experienced guys and novices. I wouldn't necessarily start out on such a bike, but it can be done if you have some previous moto or related experience. There are often guys online wanting to trade their CBR's and Gixxers for one.They are very popular for racing.
It is lovely to ride, very comfortable ergonomics and typical V-twin low end power, torque, and sound. Easy to start off from a stop, no high revving required. Has all the right looks and handling of a sportbike.
EFI makes starts easy, the ABS works excellent and makes hard stops easy. It has been well maintained, I have changed the oil with Maxima SynBlend 4 (just about the best motorcycle oil on the planet) and K&N filters. The bike has a full flow, pressurized system with a spin on filter just like a car, routine maintenance is very easy. Currently stored in heated storage, covered, with the battery removed and placed on a battery tender.
She has a new battery, a new windscreen with OEM Suzuki hardware (not pictured), SVRP tank risers, new Metzler Sportec M3 tires front and rear, Yoshimura RS-3 carbon fiber exhaust, Banditmania collapsable rear brake lever, timing retard eliminator, Motosliders frame sliders, and the forks have been serviced with new oil and seals. New platinum spark plugs just installed.
