kinda surprised about subway actually being accurate. two things come to mind though: 1. all the shit they took after the jared diet, they pretty much cant afford any false info anymore 2. their calorie stats are for a 6" sandwich, with no vegetables or sauces or cheese...add sauces, cheese and some veggies to your sandwich and it'll taste better but often the calorie count doubles 3. amount of sodium in subway's breads is :sweetjesus: |
People try to make dieting too fucking complicated, when it's not. Most of the time people over complicate it for two major reasons, they want to continue eating bullshit, or they don't want to put the work in the gym. I've never understood people who put so much relavance on calories, it's not important in relation to the type of food you are eating. It's shocking that there are people that don't understand such a simple fact. |
My simple healthy diet: Step 1: Buy things that once lived (eggs, meats, plants, etc.) Step 2: Cook. Avoid refined carbs and sugar. Step 3: Eat. Rinse and repeat. |

Another in a long list of reasons why I don't count calories anymore. I just count carbs (under 50-100 overall), high healthy fat intake (that includes saturated fats and cholesterol), medium protein, hopefully no grain/legume and no refined sugar makes me a happy camper. |
