u need at least 30 - 60 days notice, you can't touch ANY of his shit at all. It's consider his property and you can be taken to court. if he can't move out, you can't force him.

Whether he's renting legally or not, with a lease or not...there's nothing the law does to treat them differently.

If he gets the locks changed on him, then he can call the cops; same with damage and whatnot. However, if he agreed to move out by the 15th, then the owner can assess penalties for failing to move out on time (charging a month's rent, moving/storage fees) and what have you.
