I think my favourite part of this thread is that my 65 year old mother forwarded me this just this morning. This means Timpo is on the same 'old ladies forwarding list'.

OP, if you're an audiophile and want to listen to music with your sound system, you go ahead and do it.

If you're a classic movie fan and want to watch a VHS, do it.

If you want to pick up a phone and talk to people, do it.

If you want to get your news from a paper or magazine, do it.

If you want to make music with acoustic instruments, do it.

If you want to fap to Playboy or Penthouse, do it.

If you're unhappy with trends, don't succumb to them, buck them. Take it from someone with experience-getting wound up in what other people do will make you miserable. No matter how much technology marches on, you will always find people who share your views.
