mattress against a wall? or go to a gym with a bag..

i boxed for a couple years, shadow boxing was best, if you have a big mirror, get infront of it and slowly box, consistently watch your posture, your technique, watch to make sure you arnt dropping your hands, make patterns and do this all slowly, you can slowly speed up, but make sure you are keeping posture and not throwing anything sloppy, go as far as getting some music that gets you pumped and go to the beat of it, practice makes perfect.

when it comes to the bag my coach would smack us if we were just sitting there hitting is as hard as possible, you learn nothing while you sit there flailing! technique is everything!

Shadow boxing doesn't require a bag.

LOL

Might as well hijack this thread since it's just spam. Has anyone here watched Hajime no Ippo? My favorite old boxing anime.
