Yeah, Mos Burger is pretty much, in my perspective, the golden peak of the pyramid in terms of fast food chains, on a worldwide scale (although they're only in Asia and Australia)

McDonalds in The Philippines serves fried chicken, spaghetti, and all-day breakfast with Filipino cured meats.

When I was in McDonalds in Austria last year, I tried the Chicken Premio. Hands down the best fast food burger I have ever had. Chicken, arugula, tomato, real Parmesan cheese and a tangy tomato sauce. If they brought it to North America I would probably eat it everyday :D

if it was in america it would be bathed in grease then microwaved twice.

they also have a "McSaracosti" which is a seperate mcdonalds for those who don't eat meat (since for about 60% of the year most greeks don't eat meat due to religious reasons)

Delish 04-27-2013 06:50 PM

When I used to work at Dairy Queen we used to take matcha powder (the small green tin you can buy at T&T) and blend it to make custom green tea ice cream. You could probably do it at home.

MOS Burger sucks, I think people like it because its Japanese and therefore a 'brand'. When they opened stores in HK, people lined up everywhere to try it. Now only a few locations remain, usually in chinese tourist hot spots.

Regarding Fanta, that stuff is like crack to me, fell in love with it but obviously can't have it very often. :okay: Tried some here in Japan yesterday and it SUCKED.

Also did you know that Fanta was created in nazi Germany during WWII because they could no longer import Coca Cola flavours? They made Fanta as a replacement using whatever flavours they could find

meowjinboo 04-27-2013 09:13 PM

way too much sugar dude.

seriously usually 30grams more sugar than others.

I'm impartial to a greek brand called loux.

that shit is delicious.

I wonder if it's more like the HK stuff that I love, or the Japan stuff that is gross...

The HK stuff is like neon orange, super sweet, and super orangey... the japan stuff is bland and not even really very orange

There used to be an Applebee's in High Gate iirc. The closest canadian red lobster is Edmonton :okay:

Calgary has a Red Lobster at Chinook mall. Is the Popeyes in Canada the same in the states? Toronto has a Popeye's on Yonge St.

And it sucks too. It honestly tasted like a crappier version of Denny's, but with butter drenching everything that wasn't the salad. Waited some 20 years to try this (Edmonton location). What a let down. :lol
