same with coca cola tastes so much better outside of the US/CAN

Because it's sweetened with real sugar and not glucose-fructose. You can thank corn subsidies and an embargo on Cuban sugar for that.

In the US you can get Kosher Coke around Passover or Mexican Coke in the southern states that has real sugar. There is a small convenience store in the complex next to Lougheed Mall (near the Red Robin and Dollar Giant) that sells soft drinks from Mexico. The taste is not even comparable to North American soft drinks.

Speaking of regional differences, I find that Coke Zero sucks in Japan.. at least the bottled kind... I actually switched to Pepsi Nex

Tried #5 tonight before catching a movie: Green Tea Blizzard

Not bad, but not anything to get that excited over. Maybe only truly appreciated by green tea disciples.

The fountain coke at the movie theatre still sucked.

Pepsi Retro is make from real seal sugar so is Jones soda. Cott just released a line of pop shoppe soft drinks that use real sugar. I like regular Pepsi over retro Pepsi.

also Mr Big is not available in the US.

I have it all the time in HK and its definitely different. Haven't tried the regular coke yet. And like I said elsewhere the Fanta here sucks too. If you're going to make foreign brands, they should taste the same!
