Guys with big calves attractive?

I was overweight when I was a kid, I've managed to slim down as I grew up and now I'm quite fit. However, my calves have stayed bulky. I never have to work on my legs at the gym and get compliments from other dudes sometimes but I've always wanted smaller calves so I could fit those slimmer jeans and high top boots.

So what do you guys think? Is it good or bad to have big calves?

A lot of girls wont really care, only guys notice cus we wanna be jacked. Just be thankful w what you have

ShadowBun 05-05-2013 12:53 PM

From a bodybuilder's perspective, consider yourself blessed.
Many train for years on their calves, yet see minimal growth.

I'm the same Lol. always get complements on my calves. Some people are blessed with biceps n chest, and I get blessed with nice cut calves Lol.

Could be worst, and get blessed with nothing.

And also guys who don't dress like girls

I've noticed, a lot of guys have average sized calves regardless of the upper body strength or physique.

And yes, I do compare myself with other guys.

So, if you have larger than average calves, like myself, consider yourself lucky.

dinosaur 05-05-2013 10:22 PM

dude man....im gonna level with you. in regards to what chicks dig in guys...calves are pretty fucking low on the list.

rock your cankles in style....just not girly style.

I used to think that way too, but I realizes as you work out on your legs more, its a "different" look than being a fat guy with fat legs, fit defined thighs and calves could be seen thru jeans just like how a guy can see a girls ass thru their yoga pants.

and yes some girls dig that shit.

Lol I don't have cankles, my ankles are actually quite slim, it's just the upper part of my calves :hotbaby:

yoga pants analogy is flawed.. yoga pants actually create the illusion of a "nice ass" for girls that have mediocre asses.

dress what is suited for your body type. not the other way around.

your body dictates your style, not your mind.

slim style, for naturally slim guys.

FYI: there are two types of calves. long and short.

people with short calves, have that muscular calf look. long calves have that slender skinny look.

if u have short calves, you don't even need to work them out and you can flex them and it looks like someone shoved a hockey puck up there.
ppl with skinny calves can do all the calf excersizes they want, and it will never be as big as someone with short calves.

it's just genetics dude. use what you have.

Armind 05-06-2013 12:23 PM

I got huge calves too.. Used to be fat kid but I did a lot of endurance swimming and TKD.

People thought it's all fat until I flex it. :fuckyea:

xilley 05-06-2013 03:46 PM

Then.. what are girls that Still dont got ass with yoga pants..

lol I'm the opposite. I have a rather slender leg, or as some ppl mite say, a chicken leg. But as soon as I flex or anything a bulge protrudes from the side. TKD ftw
