Lol the prison system is a joke. It's a huge money maker. They're private prisons afterall.

I don't know why these monkeys are in Jail being treated to food and shelter. They should be in labour camps, digging ditches and building railways or executed publicly.

I think the focus is on how easy it is and what they can get and even who's helping them

The real question remains is: How can these inmates have these contraband items with no one noticing in the prisons and guards not doing anything about it. I mean you're a guard walking by and you know inmates cannot smoke weed, then a reek of weed comes out of a cell. You would be pretty dumb not to realize it at all.

it's probably cause it's a lot easier (and possibly safer) for a prison guard to have these inmates on weed/candy etc., it might even be the case where the guards are smuggling the drugs etc. in for the inmates. Goes without saying they aren't really held at the same level of accountability as police officers.

I think they do a little manufacturing... sewing, making shoes, etc.

I think they are paid about $1 an hour (read it or watched it somewhere).

I think the most interesting thing about Canadian prisons I learned, is that they can't dry it out of drugs.

Their job gets interesting when you are outnumbered 10-1 by addicts going through withdrawal.

they should be chained together doing jobs around the states/provinces. do the most time consuming physically demanding jobs possible. give them a reason to want to get out of jail and never return. have them pick garbage off the side of the hwy, clean beaches/lakes, go down every street with a propane tank and a torch killing all the weeds between the cracks in side walks, remove gum from side walks, scrub graffiti from walls, etc etc.

If these inmates wanted to get more Youtube hits, they can take video of themselves taking drugs, have fights inside, and yelling "World Star, World Star" during their party.

What a crazy world.
