infinite money glitch step 1 : buy the AMG VGT as many as you can but DO NOT select it , if u do the game will crash when you go back to 1.00 step 2 : quit game and delete the gt6 patches ( don't delete your save file ) step 3 : disable network step 4 : run the game and start selling ! NOTE : you only get 20m max for every car you sell so try buying cars till you get back to zero and then sell another AMG :) step 5 : once you buy what you want save the game and update the game and you will still have all the cars :) have fun What I did was delete the game update, sold the Vision GT, got the 20m went back and update the game, brought 20 vision GT and delete the game update again. Even the car sold is for 330 million, but the max amount of money you can get is 20m. So you gotta spend it all before selling a second one. if you ran out of Vision GT, just sell the last one and keep the 20m and update the game to buy another 20. Garage limit is 250, and stockyard is glitchy at the moment, there is a chance of losing your stockyard cars. |

If you're lucky enough to have both you can start to nitpick between the two. Forza has the better racing experience and GT is more sim/encyclopedic. |
where do you find the grand prize code for the unleash greatness contest? It says if you bought the game at EB Games Canada, then you get a code with it. I'm not seeing a code anywhere |
Anyone want a copy for 50 bucks? I paid 60 today but my ps3 literally died minutes before playing it. Brand new with receipts and whatnot. Bestbuy wouldn't let me return it since they said it was unwrapped so I may have pirated it. |

i got an email from BB with a code for GT6, havnt redeemed the code yet, donno what its for |
Assuming it's the same as Futureshop. It should be a bonus 4-car pack which includes a Tesla Model S Signature Performance '12, a Cheverolet Corvette Stingray C7 '14, a BMW Z4 GT3 '11, and a Nissan GT-R Nismo N24. |
Still on the fence on this one. The sound seems just terrible in the reviews. Sadly might be the first GT game I skip. |
I'm finding GT6 meh. it feels like an updated GT5 to me. Also if i were to grind without using that money glitch, it would take FOREVER to get the cars i want to drive. |

just bought it at EB .... |
I managed to find a buyer within like 10 mins of posting it haha. |
Been playing GT since the very first one, and GT6 been playing it since release every single day with a steering wheel... The most welcome change to the game most people would agree is the physics and menu system and load times are ridiculously awesome now compared to GT5, easy to get around the menu, I mean past annoyances like multiple load screens while you go back and forth through the various options and menus (getting around the game)... it's all so streamlined now, much easier much faster to access. Just changing the oil in GT5 made me wanna pull a hair out, then when buying a car part, DO YOU WANNA BUY, OK YOU BUY, DO YOU WANT TO INSTALL CAR PART, OK CAR PART INSTALLED... like for fcks sake, multiple menu pop ups for such a simple thing... that's the type of shit they fixed with the new menu system. The bad is, cars still sound like they're half muffled, making money is harder, and for the first time ever I am noticing just how much framerate drop there is when for example you're using cockpit view or when cars kick up some dust, and when those two happen combined, framerate drops really low... I always thought they made the game to run constantly at 1080p and 60fps.... but I get framerate drops to probably about half that quite often, I find myself having to get out of cockpit view just to be able to play the game properly and see things on the track. I understand limitations of the PS3, but still though this is the most frustrating thing in the game for me, I want to drive in cockpit view at all times, or a hood view, but still no hood view in GT for whatever reason we are stuck with a roof view for fcks sake And to you guys speaking on the game from hearsay, and read reviews, well don't, unless you know what GT really is and if you've actually played it The lack of money making I actually really like, it's forced me to change the way I play the game. I don't fully tune out cars anymore, I'm wise with my money and it makes me enjoy every car I drive instead of continuously waiting to buy and max out the next car, then the next. Basically it's not a repetitive thing to me anymore this game, and the way I played it before feels like cheating now that I've played GT6.. so I'm digging the new money thing, even if I had free credit to purchase the 20 mill in game I wouldn't even use it. |
Does GT6 still have standard/premium car loadout where the standard cars look like shit with stretched textures? I know I bought the Formula GT and it was classified as a "standard" car and it had a whole bunch of jaggies, like not even jaggies, it looked like a fucking staircase on the rear diffusers. :Puke: I'm not paying more for another rehash. If cars still seem like they ride on rails if you nudge them in the back then, to me, that's not improvement on in-game physics..... |

does the 20million glitch still work? |

I also have both systems, and I've owned every GT since GT1, and every Forza since 2, including forza 5 on xbox one. I agree with everything G-spec said. The UI is much improved over gt5, and i may even go as far to say as it is better than forza 5. The ui in forza 5 is visually more modern than gt, but is slightly more awkward and missing some crucial information compared to forza 4. The arguments that gt fanboys have always touted are number of cars, number of tracks, and physics. The number of tracks I agree with. Sure, some tracks in gt are quite outdated visually, but I hope that gets fixed in GT7. As for the car count and physics, I have to go against what most reviews say. There are a bunch of cars that are repeat, since they count different trims and years as separate models. 35 different miatas is completely unnecessary, when 3 (NA, NB, NC) would suffice: Who cares about a Lunar Rover when GT6 has >30 Miatas? There are also a bunch of weirdo cars and boring cars that nobody gives a shit about, while missing some pretty important cars. The modifications you can do is also very limited compared to forza. They all sound like vacuum cleaners, whether you're in a 1969 charger r/t or honda civic. The standard cars are also still missing interiors. I only drive in the interior view, so what's the point of having 1000+ cars when they look and sound the same when I'm driving? Not the case with forza 4 or 5. Every car sounds distinctively different and much closer to their real life counterpart. There are a few cars that you can tell what it is just by the sound without looking in forza. This is especially apparent when driving around at lower rpm. Adding modification like exhaust and striping out a car also makes the sound change drastically. The range of modification is also much more diverse. Although there is less car count in forza, I often find myself have at least 3 or 4 of the same cars having distinctively different styles. If you want to strip out a car and apply a livery to replicate a real life race car, you can do that. Or you can rice it up F&F style. Every single car in forza can be transformed into whatever you want. As for physics, coming from the point of view of someone who is an engineer with experience in vehicle dynamics and suspension design, I think Forza is much more accurate. What a lot of the reviewers fail to understand is that unforgiving doesn't necessarily mean realistic. They added more body roll in gt6, but it just plain looks unrealistic and exaggerated. All the cars visually look under sprung with no progressiveness. The springs are an elastic device which responds proportionally with load. To see what I mean, just get in the interior view of the X-bow in stock form. You can visually see the spring binding under only a mild corner. I am sure they did not design that car to go through its full travel just making a gentle turn. What they also dont seem to understand is that body roll does not equal load transfer, something that they just don't have a grasp of in gt. Cars will feel completely dead. You can abruptly lift the throttle in a fwd with a big rear bar or pump the throttle in a fd with 400hp with no effect on yaw change. Needless to say this is with traction ctrl, stability assist, and abs all off. I have not yet tried forza 5 with a wheel so I can not make a fair comparison, but initial impression with the pad is good. Even forza 4 is much more accurate than any gt to date. |
speaking of suspension. one thing that the gt series and many other racing games always fail to consider is the type of suspension used. in the game, every car seems to have double wishbone all around. eg. i can put camber and toe in the rear of a ae86 which irl has a solid rear axle. i wish they actually use suspension models based on the real car. mc strut, multilink, solid axle, torsion beam, etc |
My biggest complaint is that they hardly put in any recent production cars in the game anymore. |

∆iirc, we are getting the "vision GTs" for free, which are basically future concepts that auto manufacturers have yet to release |
After reading the reviews and feedback on forums, I don't see myself buying GT6. I'll wait for polyphony to wake up, that is, if they ever do. |
Overall I'm loving this game, I have GT5 as well but never really played it since I kept waiting to build my G27 setup. I'm finding those cone hit challenges harder than the actual races though haha. |
what do you guys think about the handling gt5 vs gt6? i think its so different. gt6 is alot harder. in gt5, i always run without any assistance. but in gt6, those supercars like 458 and aventador are SO hard to handle. i have to turn on skid recovery mode! |
^ you can notice the difference definitely, and it's for the better.... it's noticeably different and noticeably better, I really like driving normal cars a lot more now, equipping them with sports softs as opposed to maxing out all my cars with racing softs like in GT5..... gives me a really good sense of how the car handles in real life without that extra crazy grip that racing tires would give you... I read Ronalds long reply about how GT doesn't hit some aspects of realism, and it makes sense, but at the same time there's only so much we can feel through force feedback of our steering wheels. And I know we've all seen throughout the years the products of GT's realism in the form of GT players turning into actual race car drivers, not to mention actual race car drivers have been using the game for years as a training manual and praising it for it's accurate portrayal of not just the cars but also the tracks/courses. The one thing that's always impressed me and I don't think I've ever seen it done for any of GT's competition like Forza or any other console based "sim" and those would be those side by side real life and GT race video comparisons and I'm not talking about the visual comparisons to the course or car, I'm talking about LAP TIMES... just go on You Tube and type in "Gran Turismo Real Life lap times" and you'll find numerous videos of lap time comparisons to identical cars doing laps in both GT and real life and the lap times are identical down to the tenth of a second in a lot of cases. That's really impressive to me, as it is to numerous professionals involved in that automotive racing industry that are aware of it and utilize it to their benefit, and so whenever I see Forza and GT fanboys arguing I always know there's a whole industry standing behind one of those simulations and has been for years, I'll trust the word of a pro anyday EDIT: and I totally forgot to mention, I've seen this first hand, as a longtime friend of mine who has actually one of the top students/racers at Skip Barber school racing at Laguna Seca winning numerous races in the Formula Dodge division where numerous pros and potential pros were competing, me and this guy would sit and play Gran Turismo for hours and hours, and this helped him immensely on his road as a race car driver here's a video of him in action at Laguna |
Gran Turismo 6 Thread cant find the old one? Mod please bring it back? GTAcademy: joshuasouthoaks add me, I need people to learn racing lines off of! |
