why can't bills have RFID tags in them? All the cashier would have to do is "scan" it through the RFID reader and don't even have to look to see what denomination it is.
I'm sure it'll be super super tough to spoof an RFID signal.

Damn the new ones look pretty good, showed them on the news the only difference they noted was in the hologram and even it looked reasonably close Posted via RS Mobile
one of my staff took in a fake about a month back.
it got a bit damaged because so many people were handling it but in general i would say it was a better fake then any of the paper bills we ever got.
no brail but colour was bang on (the pic doesn't do it justice. iphone camera) and it felt very similar to a real bill, maybe a bit thicker. looks like it was done in a couple layers which explains the added thickness.
and for those who can't figure it out. top is real bottom is fake.
oh i could tell...the foil print on the fake looks like shit compared to the real hologram with the small details on it.
how is it going to take before we see smaller bills?...of course it's sketchy to be handed 100 dollar's for a 10 dollar bill

yeah like i said, after the bill getting passed around to all my staff and a bunch of friends who have all scratched and picked at the bill it becomes very evident which is fake but trust me when we first got it the holo was probably one of the most convincing parts.
Also before this people probably aren't just breaking these 100's for change, they are provably buying larger purchases and giving stacks of them with some real some fake Posted via RS Mobile

Unless your fake is spot on, then no.
If you are counting out a stack of bills, then a fake stands out as feeling different.

Why would you go to all of that effort to make a seemingly passable counterfeit bill, and not include all the detail from a real one? Aren't you just setting yourself up to be caught?
I can maybe understand not getting the bumps in the bill, but the drawing isn't even complete

Didn't they say that these new bills are near impossible to replicate with the high end technology imprinted on these bills when they first introduced it?....

Sigh is hard to trust anything anymore.... so there are fake bills out there people swtich to credit card to avoid it all. Then all of a sudden comes this idea that are going to be charge an extra 5 to 10% for using credit card. Why not try using debit card you ask? Well there is a montly fee to use debit card.
