A buddy has a Boss 5000 and he swears up and down it puts out a legit 5000 watts for the $168 he spent!! After showing him this video, he tossed his complete Boss system up for sale within under 12 hours. (2 boss 12" 4500 watt subs and amp)

I remember a buddy buying a "200W" amp from some big-box store's clearance rack... I pointed out to him how it only had a 10A power fuse, and how that meant even with 100% efficiency, it would be able to produce over 150W at 15V without blowing the fuse. He was quite livid - "What the hell, how can they claim it's 200W then?? The bastards!"
