| Anyone doing the BBA at BCIT
Is anybody doing the BBA at BCIT right now? My buddy and I both want to do it but our grades don't exactly meet the criteria (72% average), but we are both at 70 and 69 respectively.
Just wondering if anyone else has done it or is doing itand is it really that competitive and what were your grades when you get accepted?
Thanks!

Upgrade your grades first and make sure this is exactly what you want to get in to. It's pretty competitive and cut throat at BCIT. The program is not a walk in the park.

I was provisionally acepted to the bTech in accounting for the upcoming fall and my average is 77. But take thatwith a grain oof salt because with bTech only FMGT students can apply. However bba includes mktg opt FMGT and hrgt. Are you coming out of high school? Or are you already in a diploma program?
Bcit is fairly competitive , the bachelor's program is 50 students and keep in mind that seats were doubled this fall
I'm sure however that the bba has more students though
Also you might get more help in the bcit thread I think there's a few bba students that frequently post there Posted via RS Mobile |

think he meant that there were 100 students and only 50 are left standing.. the BBA program and bachelor program at BCIT is not a walk in the park, hence why its only 3 years lol, do your 2 years and see how you fare first, i thought i was able to do that but fuck that

50 to start but wait until the end of the first year. You might see maybe half of those students left.
Shit gets real at BCIT.

I know several from my program who got in with 72%. You don't need 80%+.
Also, only 8 courses are part of BCIT's BBA curriculum. The other 8 courses are general electives, and can be taken at any college that offers university transferable courses.
If you don't get in right away, you can always upgrade your current marks while taking the general electives at the same time.

In my experience, you may get into some programs at BCIT with the lowest minimum marks but thats only if you apply really early on before the next intake.
In most cases however if you are not atleast 5% above the minimum marks you will need to upgrade.
