I haven't bought one from anywhere other than costco and would like to know if other places have the all thigh option as well?

If we expand the region ... Blaine. US grocery store chicken >> Cdn, don't know why. Grocery fried chicken is really good as well. Both at truck stop and the one at Ferndale.

What about whole chickens uncooked.
Only down side to Costco is you have to eat it all within a few days.
I like to get whole then cut it up and make different meals out of it.
Where and what is the best price for a whole chicken?
Searched the websites no help. What is a good per pound price for whole?

Costco occasionally has the two whole bird pack. Don't know the pricing but I'd probably prefer their birds at a little higher cost than other places

I've bought whole uncooked chickens at No Frills before when it was on sale.

It was something ridiculously cheap like $4 or $5. Pretty small compared to Costco but at that price I couldn't really complain.

But yeah, I'd usually grab it at Costco. If I'm looking for rotisserie, I'd probably pick em up at Costco or Whole Foods. Superstore if I'm too lazy.

I use chicken multiple ways:
uncooked from china town;
wings, drums stick, skin = deep fried
breast = shredded + bbq sauce for wraps
thighs i cook them up little slices for stir fry
cage of the body I use it as stock to boil.

As for rotisserie; I eat the dark meat and the rest, I use them as meat for wraps + nachos etc. I find them way too dry and tasteless that's why

for raw chicken; Winco in US has really good price for whole chicken.

I will have to try some of your options listed above, all sounds good.
Thanks for the input

You guys need to whip up a good gravy, or just stop by KFC on your way home and get some ready gravy.

KFC gravy is unreal

Whole foods or nothing.

Totally kills Safeway, and Superstore. Would be willing to try Costco.
