I have listened to this album back to back since I have been home and this shit is just incredible. I really hope Kayne's album doesn't over shadow this cause it honestly is really really good. Let Nas down is straight story telling. No getting high, rolling in the Bugatti and the hot bitch that sucked my dick. Straight story telling lyrics which is why I love Hip-Hop.

Am I right here or just really baked?

I have a $15 GC so I might just buy is cause I some how hope he can compete with Kanye's numbers.

At first I listened to Montana and thought it was good cause the beats and he was catchy but this is on a different level. So smooth.... Really has the Nas type storytelling telling, can't wait till the Cole and Kendrick mixtape to come out...

dlo 06-07-2013 09:40 PM

yeah let nas down is a funny song, talks about how nas was disappointed with his radio play song "work out" haha but yeah its a different style of rap, more lyricism and he produced most of his own shit, so full control of creativity! watch out for kanyes, wale and mac millers in the upcoming week!!! good summer for hip hop he also mentioned switching days to compete with kanye on 1 of the tracks :lol

murd0c 06-07-2013 09:43 PM

I'm still kinda iffy about Mac, He's really doing some weird unique shit and Wale should be pretty good as well. I'm more excited about Ace Hood in July tho.

Cole World was phenomenal. Brought hip hop back IMO. Looking forward to this album.

One of the best albums this year. Deserves more attention than it's getting.

kevin7352 07-14-2013 08:32 AM

Crooked Smile is a nice driving song

This. So underrated with the hype of other artists like West and Jay-Z.

i've a hard time getting into this album
was anticipating a good Kendrick Lemar/Cole collab but that song is underwhelming
Trouble is a great track
I will say lyrically it's better than jay-z and kanye's new CDs
