I know this as well but you gotta get really up close to be able to read the decals, lol. Then you'll get pulled over for tail gating.

Plus, the insurance on 99% of the cars expires on Feb 28th, so you can also check the decals on the license plate next time if you are not sure.

Not sure if its the same car, but if you look closely at the front license plate, it actually says RCMP. Sorry for my crappy iphone 4 picture. Photo taken at McDonald Parking Lot infront of Futureshop in Lansdowne

How to ID if an SUV is a police SUV instantly? The taillights have a completely clear section for the blue lights, normal SUV's don't.

I saw a gray Pontiac Firebird on knight street pulled someone over a couple of days ago. I wouldn't have thought twice if the lights weren't on. So scary...

another way to find out is too look at the headlight/tailight to see if theirs a hidden led. Theirs a grey Hyundai van always stationed at the crystal mall parking and its ALWAYS parked in the RCMP spot so i got curious and looked around and found the leds in the headlight/taillight and also a laptop holder thing on the dash. So if you frequent metrotown area be careful of a grey hyundai van

This is how it looks like...

Time to time my next year's renewal to expire on Feb 28 :troll:

Gh0stRider 08-02-2013 04:52 PM

those are the strobe lights, not leds. the led ones look different.

Simple stuff.

your "enemy" comment is where guys like 4444 are arguing about. why are citizens considered enemies? police are here to serve and protect. I understand their need to blend in and catch violatiors without drawing attention, but this is a turn to the truly odd imo.

also, I've been pulled over by a Toyota Sienna ghost car before. lucky I only got a warning that time.

They really have some hard to spot undercover vehicles, I see quite a few of them on my commute to work on highway 1 pulling people over.

Here is a White Dodge Ram 1500

Here is a Dark Blue GMC Van
