Looking for Interest in an occational afternoon coffee meet
 

I see we have a number of unofficial meets going on for the summer, Ironwood on Sundays looks like fun.

At one time RS had a coffee meet that occured about once a month at various locations and days.

I am wondering if there is any interest in doing such a thing again. I would love to make Ironwood regularly but late afternoon Sunday is not the best for me and I am sure there are others.

I know that there are RS members in South Surrey, Langley, Whiterock, Delta areas that may like to meet on the south side of the River occationally and I'm sure we can convince a few from the north side to take a drive.

If this thread generates enough interest I will pick a day, time and location to meet. I will likely pick a Sat early evening and may try somewhere in Whiterock or South Surrey.

Suggestions on locations anywhere are welcome

Saturday early evenings sounds kind of neat. I'm in!

The Morgan Crossing area of South Surrey is alright. Several coffee shops and lots of places to buy food as well. You can even cruise around Marine for those who want to cruise later on.

I made a little map for VancouverPreludeClub.net when they went for a little meet & cruise not that long ago in the South Surrey area.

I still remember the rtr/pacer show and shine years ago held by Rob and rcmp. Those were fun times, got to speak and learn a lot from rcmp officers.
Rob was always great to speak to and a car enthusiast!

Remember when we all rolled in and parked onto the grass field all lined up. The park festivals were so fun!

hmm a lil far from me, so doubt i would head that way. I have enough of going white rock for work from vancouver LOL but you should show up to the stock and noobie meets that happen in van/bby

Wow Rob it's been a long time since I have heard from you! The RTR program brought a lot of positive attention to the community when the car scene. When/Wherever you set this up, I hope I can come by and say hello

Totally down for Morgan Crossing! I live 5 minutes away!

I could maybe host it at the dealership I work at. I do C&C meets there sometimes.

Ok so I am still a little tardy on the posting, but my summer has been busy for some reason.

I am still very interested in trying out an afternoon coffee meet. I know this is a long weekend and a lot of people will be away or busy.

Since Monday is a holiday for most I was contemplating a

SUNDAY August 4th meeting date, 3pm....
I know the Starbucks at 152 St and KingGeorge, Surrey is normally very quiet and has a large lot. Several of the businesses are closed on weekends. The Japanese restaurant next door is good too.

I think I will just go and see who shows. I drive a Blue 2013 Mustang GT. I will be the tall white guy with a mustache, oh wait this is south surrey there are a lot of tall white guys down here.

I will make an extra effort to stay on top of this thread..... I used to be so good at checking daily... :fullofwin:

oh and anything is welcome, cars, trucks, motorcycles, scooters, skate boards dont matter.

Maybe do a short cruise down beach ave later as well.
