ADV.1 wheel company is a joke.......... I just bought a new car and I was considering getting the wheels I used to love......adv.1. After doing some research, I found out the owner was the scammer Jordan swerdloff from 360 forged. Then I found out he doesn't even manufacture or design his wheels......it is all done by MHT wheels inc (they make wheels for everyone) Don't look if you bought adv1s MHT Wheels Inc. What a fucking joke. I am going to get some niche spa forged wheels for half the cost!!!!! Haha! |

This is ADV on a Cayenne. Constant leaking air and the owner took it off and found its cracked all around. http://i.imgur.com/2io7bNV.jpg http://i.imgur.com/fE2AEaz.jpg |
a friend that knows cyrus from SR auto ask me if i was interested in helping him with PUR, i was debating if i wanted to do that ask a few ppl on RS & turns out that a sub division of ADV wheels which is created by crappy 360 forged, so i just left it at that, dont really trust them i heard jordan has learn from his mistake |
**off topic** ADV.1 and AVID.1 are two different companies right? |
When I hear about adv.1 I just remember the free t-shirt I got woot |
wow...I were looking at ADV.1 for my car, I guess not anymore but I love their deep concave rims |
Or MHT just copied ADV.1 ..... ? I don't think ADV.1 is that stupid. |

MHT is one of the few US manufacturers who produce wheels for all these boutique wheel companies. I always thought MHT was junk, but I was wrong. All I know is that if you like ADV.1 wheel design and don't want to get ripped off check out the monotech (1 piece forged) series from Niche, one of MHT brands. |
I remember there was a huge debate about forge wheels and manufacturers on M5 Board before. And information was leaked by a few of the past employees regarding to the origin of wheels. Most of the forged wheels are made in Taiwan and China (check that out at tirerack.com) and only a few brand that's made in USA. |
^ I have an M5 and remember reading about that. Volk/Rays are one of the best actual forged wheel manufacturers. One thing I have learnt is that price doesn't always equate to quality. I bought a set of OZ Ultraleggeras for my M5 and couldnt be happier for price/lightness/quality. OZ and BBS also make their own wheels. Nowadays, BBS LMs seem like a good price when you compare them to $2500 a wheel for ADV.1..... |

^ good to hear, I just bought a set of Niche Monotech (1piece forged) Spa wheels, I would say 30% -50% less expensive than similar wheels from HRE. I think people think if I don't spend $1500 a wheel they have to be junk...... |

^ I do like the styling of the new BBS rims....didn't know they produce in Japan as well now. Funny thing is that you are seeing more BBS rims on Japanese cars and seeing more Volk rims on euro cars......I had TE37s on my GT3.....best rims I have ever owned, made the car drive allot better, especially over bumps..... |
Adv.1 has been banned from several forums because shitty quality wheels and shitty customer service. Posted via RS Mobile |
SR auto sales and ADV.1 are perfect partners! Cyrus is a good guy, but the auto sales side, they are a bunch of douches.... |
I remember an RS thread about ADV.1 a while ago too.. might have been this one: http://www.revscene.net/forums/62629...-adv1-guy.html |
Not to go off-topic but any pics of your new AMV8? Congrats! Kev |
Yeah, would love to take a look at it if you bring it to the next big meet. |
