Double right turn lanes There are three lanes. Left lane is to turn left, middle lane is straight through and right turn, and right lane is to turn right. Is it legal to turn right from the middle lane when it is a red light? There is no sign that says do not turn right on red. |
I believe yes. Just be careful, as it's still an unprotected right turn. You're now crossing two oncoming lanes rather than just one. |
Sorry. Read the situation wrong, initially |
Are you describing Terminal Ave heading Westbound towards Science World? |
Either that or he is talking about 1st and Rupurt. I believe you are allowed too if there are no signs stating otherwise Posted via RS Mobile |
Yep, right turn is a right turn, proceed when safe after coming to a complete stop at the line etc like a normal right. Speaking of right turns, DAMN YOU RENFREW AND MCGILL ! almost got hit by stupid granny ! |
1st and Rupert, also at McGill and renfrew |
Thinking about it, it also kinda reminds me Georgia viaduct exit, turning right on to Main St. southbound, except that is two lanes; the left lane is for left turns, right turns and straight thru. |
