Help! - Computer freezes, runs good on safemode

Hey guys,

After logging in, my computer freezes / and is super laggy when in normal mode.

When booted in safe mode with networking, it runs completely fine.

I've ran a tdsskiller and scanning with MBAM right now, but so far everything looks good.

Any thoughts??

Your problem is in drivers or software. I would try CCleaner and see if that helps. I would expect that CCleaner will want to delete a couple hundred items.

Apologies, I should've mentioned that I did run cc cleaner too.

I didn't install anything new on my laptop. I only use the laptop for excel and internet.

pull up the task manager and see what's hogging your resources. i work on my customer's computers all the time. they're usually really slow because they install all this extra crap on their systems (additional search bars, plugins, etc...)

Well, after running in safe mode for a while, it stopped running. I did a back up and system restore (factory settings). So far so good.

Thanks for all the helpp.

@jness, i couldn't even pull up the task manager anymore, it was so bogged down.

Mods can close this now **
