Stolen: 2000 Chevrolet S10 EB-6781

Resolved

Sorry about the unusual subject matter, but this truck is incredibly important to our every day lives, and someone managed to steal it from a double gated and key fob'd parkade under our building. You need the fob to get out of the building, so it was an inside job. Already called the tow companies and management, no bueno.

Truck is a white, 2000 Chevrolet S10, LS, 4.3L V6, extended cab. It's missing the lower part of the front bumper, and the paint is a little worse for wear. Rust spots on the front and rear bumpers, wind visors on the windows, stock "swirl" wheels on tall tires. The gauge cluster is working, but the cover is busted, it has wheel and seat covers, automatic trans.

License plate number is EB-6781, any information would be appreciated if you spot it, though I urge you to phone the police and call it in. I'll update the thread if it's found to call it off, we live on Lougheed and Holdom in Burnaby, please keep an eye out, my father needs it to commute to work and for us to get to our shop.

Here are some photos, there are a few identifying marks on the body.

The fucking dumbass brought it back with a ton of stolen shit inside, TO THE VISITORS AREA. Steering column is destroyed, we can't touch it, cops are on the way.

Situation is handled, truck's being towed to an RCMP lot for examination. This dude lives in the building, and I have a feeling he's the one who tried to pry open all of the mailboxes too.

I hope they find out who it was so we can sue that motherfucker

It doesn't make any sense, unless he or she was under the influence of...

Those stolen items? One of them was a vaccum cleaner.

I should have mentioned the mail room to the officer that responded and made the link apparent, hopefully they can pull something from the truck, it seems like this guy would have a record.

I honestly want nothing more than to beat the living shit out of him, but it's not worth me getting a record, obviously.

if its an insider job, you should ask your caretaker for security tapes or even fob logs. each fob is registered to an owner with a the serial number at the back of it (if its still visible). if you can coincide the tapes to see with the fob logs, it might be easy to find out who the person is.

If your building has metal doors/frames you could weld him inside his unit. Then he should jump out the window.
