Greedy landlords and the advent of arcade-quality consoles like the PS1 will do that.

Most people don't know but Movieland is actually the oldest Arcade/Peepbooths in North America.

There history there. Plus they have Super Turbo and Thirdstrike Cabinets. Can't find those anywhere. There are usually gatherings every friday and saturday.

Is there a market for a modern arcade? Is it possible to be profitable? Is it quitessential to have skeeball ddr and wackamole? If yes to all then this could be a good idea to include in a bar or something. I tried to go to EXP on pender the other day and there was a 30 minute wait. I seen a few arcade games and realized this town lacks colorful nerdy drinking spots. Would any of you go to an arcade pub?

they dont even have an ST machine even after i begged the owner to buy my CPS2 for 100 dollars.

If they got a third strike or a ST cabinet, I'd be there every weekend.

It's 100% in my mind a grow up underneath there.

That reminds me, when can we mail in requests for changing these dinosaurs policies?

meowjinboo 08-28-2013 10:41 PM

Never. Arcades compete with Casinos apparently.

There used to be a bunch of Johnny Zees in Victoria but they have dissapeared. The closest we get here is a few arcade games in movie theatres.

One day I will own Daytona USA side by side sit down units!! Love that game.
