Arcade places in BC?

Where's the best place to play carnival games/games where you can win tickets to collect prizes? Sort of like the kids market in granville island but bigger? Besides PNE, CHQ or whatever

Have you tried Castle Fun Park in Abby?

They have games that give tickets, an arcade, 3 mini golf courses, batting cage, bumper cars, go karts, and ice cream.

Castle Fun park is the best unless if you can find a traveling carnival that goes from city to city. But it's summer time go to the PNE!!!

AzNightmare 08-09-2013 05:54 PM

I would suggest Castle Fun Park.

Lomac 08-09-2013 06:07 PM

I'll second (fourth?) Wonderland... er, Castle Fun Park.

Playdium in the new Metropolis extension

Hondaracer 08-09-2013 07:04 PM

Castle fun parks arcade is soooo ghetto lol but it's nice to play the classics I guess

I miss Lester's, one night me and some buddies were hot knifing hash out in the parking lot and the skinny guy who gave change came out and told us "don't get too high to play games" lol wtf

Why did playdium close down? I remember going once and it was packed but that was when it was still fairly "new". I'm guess business slowed exponentially...

Wonder why nobody has tried to replicate it....

CorneringArtist 08-09-2013 08:45 PM

The main Playdium still exists in Ontario, I guess there was a lack of market here for an arcade of that size. I remember the place spanning like three floors, and dat Sega Rally.

JesseBlue 08-09-2013 08:53 PM

Here is a fun place to go...a little far though...

punkwax 08-09-2013 09:18 PM

Yes. I recall this place. I think it was called "Score."

Presto 08-09-2013 09:46 PM

Chuck E Cheese in Langley is a sad place if you've ever been to the Chuck E Cheese in Burnaby.

Just went there today with my wife, and I am impressed that the arcade isn't full of moldy games. There's a lot of classics, but they also have a lot of games that have been released in the last 3-5 years.

We had a lot of fun, and will go back again soon!

For my future reference, the jungle mini golf is better than the ocean mini golf.

Mike Oxbig 08-24-2013 10:00 PM

arcade places are mostly ghetto now, they arent hip anymore....

FOREVER 08-24-2013 11:12 PM

castlefunpark has this "jumprope game" 30 or 60 cents for 100 tickets if you perfect the game every time :lawl:
