My first 4x4

Getting my first 4x4 2010 jeep commander v6 sport model tomorrow, getting it majorly cause of the 7 seats I can haul the whole family in it.
Can someone pitch in on its reliability? Things to look out for? First thing I should do?

I'll try my best to come out, but that's the week I work on Saturday and I've got all the kids with me. Thanks for the invite though, I'll try.
Anything I should look into right away when I get it? Does anybody know of any common problems of those jeeps?

No problem.

Hopefully your model doesnt have the air suspension that keeps on fucking up across the jeep line up.

Are you gonna keep it stock or do a few mods here and there?

My first suggestion would be to upgrade the tires to a nice all terrain like the good year wrangler silent armors or bfg at ko

Well I doubt I'll be modding it, bought it basically cause of the 7 seats n the woman agreed only on this HAHA
It comes with some all terrain good years already, not sure of the model though.

Firstly, welcome to the 4x4 community! For sure try to get out with us on some easy trail runs so that you can get a grasp of the offroad capabilities of your new vehicle. Secondly, get out camping a few times with the truck and your family. After a few fun trips and the kids clamouring about wondering when you're going camping next, you can more easily justify modifying your vehicle to the ball and chain and then the next thing you know this is you: (look at how happy you are)
