I don't think anything compares to incandescent. At least for me. I'm old school......... Scratch that, just old. As of January 1st, incandescent is no longer an option.
I do like the distribution of light with the LED. Not being helpful, I know. I've only had this thing for a day.
Selfie of me munching on mcnuggets dipped in sweet chili sauce?
I did have pics of the LED lights, but deleted them, accidentally. They are nice. Slim profile and easy to install. Very nice light. Brings out the nicely tanned Asian skin of mine. Adds a nice glow to my face and majestic beard.
I crossed over at noon and the it was over an hour in the regular lanes and less than 5 minutes coming back to Canada. Nexus was 5 minutes to the states and 0 on the way back.
The longest I ever waiting in the nexus line was 20 minutes and it was because someone was blocking the nexus lane leaving duty free at PA.
Has anyone taken the Amtrak down? To Portland speicifcally?
Would it be realistic to take the train down on say a Friday morning and come back Sunday? What's it like crossing the border etc on the train? Heard it's possible to take it from the train station at main and terminal all the way to Portland?

Yes you can take Amtrak but it's a long ride. About 8 hours to Portland. You'll spend most of Friday and most of Sunday on the train. Leaving you only with Saturday in Portland.
You pre-clear customs at the train station in Vancouver and Portland. Once on board, you don't need to worry about the border.
If you go to Amtrak's website, you can make a dummy booking and it gives you the schedule.

There's nothing like hopping in the car with nowhere to go in mind. You meet so many cool people at American rest areas. You make a left at the junction because it just feels right. I like traveling with friends and family, but sometimes it's so cool to just drive solo. Crank up the tunes you'd be too embarrassed to admit you own and just drive down that long winding road that leads to nowhere and with no cares in the world. ...............until you end up in some crazy bar in the middle of nowhere, like that place in the movie, "From Dusk Till Dawn." Lol.

Don't know why I just posted that.
looked like a good sales pitch at the time...until around 20min later...
One train all the way from Vancouver to Portland. About 8 hours.
Or you bus to Seattle and then transfer to a train from there. It's a different train from the first option. This actually is faster by an hour or so, but you have to leave Vancouver earlier to make the connection.

Wow, just crossed the border about 20 minutes ago and I got through in less than 5 seconds. I use my RFID enhanced drivers license every time I cross to speed up the process. I get to the booth and dude just tells me to go. No hi or bye. Wham bam thank you ma'am. Fastest ever. 3 lanes open and no line up maybe one or two vehicles in each lane. I think Nexus had a line up, Lol.

My grandma has a friend who goes to Metrotown and just picks a bus off the list and travels around for the day.
Can see you doing that when your drivers license gets revoked for being too old.

No such thing as a good place to eat lunch, casino wise, that is close to the border. Silver Thief.......... I mean Reef is the best out of them all. Tulalip is too far from border. Nooksack is a dump (more like ghetto) and the Skagit gives me the heebie jeebies.
